February 14th is special for a number of reasons – not only is it Valentine’s Day, it is also Little Heart Day, or International CHD day. it is the day day we recognize the 1 in every 100 children who are born with broken hearts around the world.
Our gorgeous heart kiddie Harley is our poster child for the special day. She has faced more challenges in her first few years of life, than most people face in a lifetime.
Harley was born with a congenital heart defect and had open heart surgery to repair it, at just 5 weeks old.
It’s our aim to get as many people as possible wearing red on February 14th. We want schools, pre-schools and everyone in the workplace to pull on something red in support of all the children who are born with congenital heart defects.
