We are pleased to announce that David Pimblott has accepted the position of interim CEO. David comes with a wealth of experience, knowledge and a genuine passion for supporting our heart kids and their families. We are confident that he will lead the organisation effectively during this transitional period, and maintain our strong focus on the well-being of our heart kids and their families.
David was a co-founder of one of the longest-established geospatial technology consultancies in New Zealand. As one of the largest companies providing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) implementation and development services in New Zealand, David worked with local, regional and central government, and private industry from North Cape to Bluff.
Concurrent with this work, David also had a joint venture company in the United States for over 10 years, supporting and participating in strategic and business decisions, as well as the operations of the company on behalf of US-based clients. David is currently working with the Auckland Business Chamber as part of their Business Mentor Programme supporting company owners and founders who need both business, confidential and private advice.
David’s leadership, combined with the ongoing support of our dedicated staff, members, volunteers, and sponsors will undoubtedly strengthen our ability to make a positive impact in the lives of our heart kids.
